The selected intern will partake in Synapxe’s corporate digitalization initiative, contributing to the modernization of internal operations through applied technology solutions. The role will involve cross-functional collaboration and the practical application of enterprise IT tools to improve document workflows, communication systems, intranet architecture, and digital content management.

 

The selected intern will participate in the following but not limited to:

 

Enterprise Document Management (EDM):

  • Implement structured taxonomy for digital document repositories using SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
  • Develop automated workflows using Power Automate to support approval chains, version control, and lifecycle management
  • Apply metadata tagging, permissions management, and access controls for enhanced document governance and compliance

 

Data Analytics & Cost Management:

  • Build dynamic financial models using Excel with advanced functions (e.g., INDEX, MATCH, XLOOKUP, IFERROR, and pivot tables)
  • Design dashboards for cost tracking, variance analysis, and budget forecasting, aligned with project KPIs
  • Support cost-benefit analysis for digital tools and intranet features, assisting in ROI evaluations

 

Content Development & Knowledge Systems

  • Support the content strategy for internal knowledge hubs through HTML/CSS page customization within SharePoint Modern UI or equivalent CMS
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain digital content governance, ensuring version consistency and compliance with corporate communication standards

 

Intranet Architecture & UX Optimization:

  • Assist in the information architecture planning of internal intranet portals (navigation, page layout, component structure)
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform UX/UI enhancements for mobile and desktop platforms
  • Leverage tools such as Microsoft Forms, Power BI, or WorkVivo analytics to measure engagement and usage metrics

 

Project Coordination & Technical Reporting:

  • Maintain project tracking tools using SharePoint Lists, Excel Gantt charts, or Power BI dashboards for milestone visualization, task dependencies, and risk registers
  • Draft technical and executive reports, including system deployment progress, analytics summaries, and stakeholder presentations

 

Platform Integration & Workflow Optimization:

  • Participate in the integration of third-party tools such as WorkVivo, Microsoft Teams, and Yammer, to streamline communication channels
  • Recommend improvements to internal workflows by mapping business processes and proposing automation or digital intervention points

 

Tools & Technologies Exposure:

  • Microsoft 365 Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams
  • Data Tools: Excel Advanced, Power BI (basic reporting), Lists
  • Content & UX: HTML/CSS basics, SharePoint Web Parts, Forms
  • Project Tools: Gantt chart templates, workflow mapping, communication matrices

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • Graduating in May/Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Sharepoint
  • Proficient in PowerBI
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
