Project: Exploration and Development of Guardrail, Summarization and Automation Capability for Healthcare Use Cases

The aim of the project is to explore and develop a number of important aspects in healthcare: Guardrails for LLM application like summarization which is a set of controls over the behaviour and the outputs of LLM, summarization over multi-documents for efficiency enhancement and AI-powered automation of healthcare protocols/guidelines.

The intern will learn and explore LLMs with different guardrails techniques and prompt engineering in the aspects of NLP, explainable and casual AI techniques as well as their foundations. The intern will learn healthcare related documents to visually display descriptive logics to facilitate programming. The intern will also learn to communicate data science problems / insights in business language and develop use cases with appropriate data sets to support practical solutions.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Graduating in May/Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Strong coding skills in python programming language
• Strong interest in GenAI technologies
• Hands-on experience in using proprietary LLM with API access (e.g. GPT-4o) and/or open source LLM (e.g. Llama 3)
• Good understanding of AI/ML technical concepts
• Adaptability to work on a constantly evolving environment
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
