The internship project aims to develop a central repository for MDOT risk assessment reports to enhance visibility into device security status and standardize risk documentation in public healthcare. Key tasks include refining a standard risk report template aligned with the Healthcare Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Management Framework (HCTRMF), preparing templates and workflows for information sharing, assisting with research and marketing efforts, coordinating project meetings, and supporting stakeholder management by documenting meeting minutes and summaries. This project offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to cybersecurity in public healthcare.
The selected interns will participate but not limited to the following:
- Support the development of a central repository for MDOT risk assessment reports that facilitates comprehensive visibility of device security status and standardized risk documentation
- Support the refinement for a standard risk report template and format for use across public healthcare, aligned to Healthcare Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Management Framework (HCTRMF)
- Prepare template(s), workflow(s) including access controls for implementing information sharing
- Assist with a variety of tasks, including conducting research, creating electronic direct mail (eDMs), preparing presentations, developing marketing/awareness campaigns, designing banners, and other adaptation work
- Provide assistance in coordination of project meetings, identify and document issues and track follow up actions until completion
- Support management meetings with stakeholders in Public Healthcare, document minutes of meeting and provide summary to management for key cybersecurity and data security forums
About you:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Graduating in May/Dec 2026 or May 2027
- Understanding of risk assessment, vulnerability management and cybersecurity
- Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
