Biomedical Engineering Inventory Project involves creating a comprehensive and accurate database of all biomedical equipment across facilities, including details such as type, model, serial number, location, operational status, and maintenance history. The scope covers physical audits for verification, standardizing data fields, implementing barcode or RFID tagging, and integrating the inventory system with maintenance and asset management platforms. Deliverables include a validated inventory database, tagging of equipment, integration with existing systems, and reporting tools for lifecycle management and compliance. The project concludes with staff training and SOPs to ensure sustainable updates and audits.

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

• Data Preparation & Cleaning: Assist in organizing raw equipment data, removing duplicates, and standardizing formats for system integration.
• System Testing Support: Help test the inventory management system by entering sample data, checking for errors, and reporting issues.
• Documentation: Prepare user guides, SOP drafts, and maintain records of development changes for future reference.
• Tagging & Labeling Coordination: Support the creation and verification of barcode/RFID tags for equipment.
• Integration Assistance: Work with the IT team to validate data migration and ensure correct mapping between systems.
• Reporting: Generate simple progress reports or summaries for the project team.
• Collaboration & Learning: Participate in meetings, learn compliance requirements, and provide feedback on usability.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Possess familiarity in Programming Language and Data Analytics tools
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team 
• Exhibit leadership qualities with good verbal and written communications skills
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
