Project: Cyber, Engineering a Modern Detection-as-Code Pipeline for Enterprise Security Monitoring

 

Our Cyber Security Office is working on designing and implementing Detection-as-Code solution to help the Detection Engineering team achieve greater efficiency in managing their detection rules. Join us and be part of the Detection Engineering team to gain hands-on experience in security engineering practices.

 

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

 

  • Work with the team in designing, developing and implementing a solution that includes integrated CI/CD (Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery/Deployment) and VCS (Versioning Control System)
  • Research and define the architecture for a Detection-as-Code framework
  • Develop the core Detection-as-Code platform and build APIs or microservices for rule management and pipeline orchestration
  • Design and implement API integration with SIEM platforms, and automate rule deployment and updates via API calls
  • Create a CI/CD pipeline that is customized for Detection as Code needs, such as integration with Version Control System (e.g., Git) for rule lifecycle management
  • Establish security and compliance controls, such as ensuring human-in-the-loop validation of rule creation & tuning.

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Familiar with cybersecurity concept, network protocols, and API.
  • Some knowledge on Windows or Linux administration is a plus.
  • Proficient in automation practices, exposure to CI/CD.
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
