The aim of this project is to develop and evaluate predictive models with audio data for a specific healthcare application. This project will levearage enterprise cloud resources with the opportunity to work with real-world data.

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

• Exploratory data analysis
• Sample diarisation
• Data cleaning
• Data augmentation
• Model architecture selection and benchmarking
• Fine-tuning strategy optimization and selection
• Hyperparameter tuning
• Model evaluation and error analysis
• Hypothesis testing

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Proficiency in python programming language for data processing and model development is required
• Previous experience with audio signal data
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as pytorch and depp learning algorithms
• Experience with AWS cloud stack
• Knowledge with hypothesis testing and statistical tests
• Familiarity with git and github repositories is a plus
• Ability to document comprehensively and rigorously project materials, including literature articles, code, results, findings, and slides
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
