The intern will support Synapxe Master Planning Office (MPO) in activities related to workplan budgeting, productivity analysis, and G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid of Stupid Stuff) - a Synapxe-wide initiative that aims to foster organisation’s continuous improvement. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to strategic planning, data analytics, and organisational improvement within Singapore’s healthcare IT landscape.
Productivity Analysis:
- Utilise Power BI or Tableau to develop and support the tracking of key productivity metrics across key healthcare IT initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis to identify efficiency improvements and opportunities to optimise resource allocation.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentation materials to highlight findings and recommendations.
Workplan Budgeting:
- Assist in data consolidation and analysis of annual workplan and budgeting submissions.
- Support variance analysis between budget and actuals to derive insights on spending trends and resource utilisation.
- Help prepare management reports and presentation materials for decision-making.
Supporting G.R.O.S.S initiative:
- Support the coordination and promotion of the G.R.O.S.S. initiative that targets to simplify work processes, remove inefficiencies, and enhance productivity.
- Manage ideas submissions, track progress, coordinate follow-up actions and to identify common improvement themes for process enhancements.
- Help organise engagement activities and prepare communication materials to raise awareness and participation.
- Contribute to the documentation and reporting of outcomes, success stories, and best practices for management updates.
About you:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to learn about public healthcare IT planning and productivity improvement
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
