Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents are transforming healthcare operations by enhancing productivity and expanding capacity. These intelligent assistants support administrative tasks, facilitate patient engagement by enabling seamless multi-model communications such as voice and text. This exciting project focuses on agentic AI tasks to assist healthcare professionals in engaging and educating patients or residents by conducting appointment or procedure reminders, medication counselling, pre-and-post procedure follow-up care and educating/ enrolling residents in specific programs or activities.

We are seeking a technically-oriented Business Analyst Intern to support a generative AI programme focused on healthcare improvements across clinical and administrative domains. This role will partner with clinicians, operations, data scientists and IT architects to analyse workflows, evaluate data readiness, and contribute to solution architecture and implementation planning for AI-driven systems that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

• Map clinical and admin workflows and identify opportunities for AI
• Write and run SQL queries; support simple data scripts (Python preferred)
• Codevelop of solution architecture artifacts (data flow diagrams, component diagrams, integration diagrams) in collaboration with solution architects and data engineers
• Support model testing, regression, validation, user acceptance and pilot rollouts
• Translate clinical needs into technical requirements and acceptance criteria
• Prepare clear summaries and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Assist project coordination and follow up on technical action items

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Strong analytical thinking and hands-on comfort with data (Excel required; SQL required; familiarity with Python/R or similar preferred)
• Familiarity with data modelling, ETL concepts, APIs and system integration patterns
• Ability to produce solution-oriented documentation and diagrams (data flow, integration and component diagrams)
• Clear, effective interpersonal communication skills for multidisciplinary stakeholder engagement
• Attention to detail and strong awareness of patient privacy, data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA) and safe AI practices
• Team player who is reliable, able to manage time in a dynamic environment and comfortable working with technical teams
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
