Join our Threat Research team to enhance threat intelligence capabilities through AI-driven automation, big data processing, and advanced analytics. You'll develop automated pipelines and tools that enable faster, more accurate threat detection and discovery of emerging campaigns targeting the healthcare sector.
The intern will contribute directly to enhancing the Threat research team’s research workflow and automation capabilities.
The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:
- Research and identify large datasets and OSINT sources relevant to healthcare-related threats.• Develop and enhance automation scripts to collect and manage this big data.
- Build tools to detect unusual activity that could signal threats targeting healthcare.• Automate the process of retrieving data through APIs.
- Create web scrapers to gather useful information from different websites.• Integrate processed outputs into a frontend or lightweight visualization engine to help analysts quickly understand patterns.
- Explore the feasibility of building pipelines that integrate OSINT data via APIs with on-premise Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate contextual threat intelligence specific to the public healthcare environment
- Gain cross-functional exposure to Incident Response and Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, developing a holistic understanding of cybersecurity operations across multiple domains
About you:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and the threat intelligence concepts (IOCs, TTPs, OSINT sources, MITRE ATT&CK).
- Knowledge of data analysis, anomaly detection, data parsing, handling of large datasets.
- Strong programming skills and automatic experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with good communication skills and confidence in sharing ideas
- Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
