HEALIX is a unified cloud-based analytics platform designed to serve all public healthcare entities in Singapore. By providing a comprehensive healthcare data repository with common analytics tools on a secure infrastructure, HEALIX enables cross-cluster collaboration and data-driven innovation in our healthcare sector. HEALIX is poised to grow and scale to meet entities' use case and user onboarding. Interns can expect to support initiatives to scale and transform existing processes and solutions, and grow in proficiency in technology and health domain expertise.

Join our Data Security team to support the implementation and enhancement of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions across the Healix platform.

 

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Support execution of Data Security Maintenance Programme (DSMP) exercise, including data classification reviews, security assessments, and data protection communications & outreach activities.
  • Support DLP@Healix post-implementation activities, including the development and training of machine learning models for email Data Loss Prevention to improve detection precision, minimize false alerts, and identify complex data leakage behaviours.
  • Support surveillance audits for Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) certification, including evidence collection, compliance documentation review, and gap analysis
  • Assist in DLP operations, including refining policies, rules, and detection signatures based on emerging threats and organizational requirements

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
  • Proficiency in languages like Python (including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn) and SQL 
  • Deep understanding of statistical concepts, probability, and machine learning algorithms
  • Experience with big data frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
