Sequential data is important and rich in healthcare which covers ECG, heart beats, speech, and gene sequences. This project aims to explore the cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to unlock the potential of sequential data for risk detection and prediction.

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

• Exploratory data analysis on heart beat/ECG/PPG dataset
• Design methodology on analyzing and predicting Atrial Fibrillation and/or other tests which require invasive measurements
• Conduct experiments by hyperparameter tuning/model exploration
• Conduct post model training analysis using explainable AI
• Quantize model
• Deploy and test model in mobile/device

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Strong coding skills in python programming language
• Proficient in python and experienced with AI/ML deep learning related libraries
• Hands on experience in time-series data analysis and deep learning modelling
• Good understanding of AI/ML technical concepts
• Adaptability to work on a constantly evolving environment.
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
• Hands-on experience in app development, Familiarity in Javascript, API integration, FastAPI, Spring Boot
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
