The Electronic Financial Counselling system is a national system used by 3 clusters (SingHealth, National Health Group and National University Hospital System) in more than 20 institutions. Electronic Financial Counselling and eForms Project system allows financial counsellors to advise the patients on their estimated bill size in advance, so that patients can better understand the payable costs. The selected intern will be involved in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes development, design and implementation of the project across various public healthcare institutions.

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Requirements Scoping:

• Conduct research on user business processes and requirements.
• Identify problem areas and information technology needs.

2. System Integration Testing:

• Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements.
• Test the usability of the system and track defects until resolution.

3. User Training:

• Organize training sessions for end-users.
• Prepare comprehensive training materials to facilitate learning.

4. Implementation:

• Ensure a successful rollout of the system.
• Provide post go-live support to address any issues that arise.

5. Liaison Role:

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  
  

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May/Dec 2027
• Possesses an analytical mind, and is able to see interconnections with system solutions and usability
• Adopts a systematic approach in handling ambiguous or complex issues, and actively discusses perspectives to arrive at effective solutions.
• Adaptable, proactive and a strong team player
• Possess strong leadership qualities with good verbal and written communications skills
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
