Project: Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Reporting & Communication

Under the Enterprise Risk and Readiness, you will part of the team responsible for managing risks of Synapxe. A myriad of risks could impact Synapxe such as strategic, operational, compliance, etc. and we are committed to fostering an environment that enables proactive identification, management, monitoring and reporting of risks. The enterprise risk management methodology provides a comprehensive and integrated approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risks within an organisation. The primary goal of the team is to enhance Synapxe's ability to achieve its objectives by effectively managing potential events that could impact its operations. For this role, you will be working closely with the team on to enhance our risk management methodology, risk monitoring and reporting capabilities, take part in risk transformational activities and promote risk awareness.

This internship role is aimed at providing interns an opportunity to understand Synapxe risk appetite, enhance governance and risk transformational activities, whilst strengthening Synapxe's risk culture and raising risk competencies.

The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:

• Participate in Synapxe risk assessment and consolidation exercise.
• Support enhancements to the risk management approach.
• Support content creation to be used for risk training and risk communications.
• Participate in secretariate duties in respect of Risk Management Committee meetings.
• Support the Self-Identified Issues programme, reporting, and stakeholders engagement.
• Contribute to process improvements, review and updates to risk management policies and procedures.
• Support review in BCM Programme.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management or related field
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Interested in learning about risk management and how to identify and track risks.
• Willing to learn new tools to support reporting and data visualisation.
• Open to sharing ideas and contributing to team discussions on risk monitoring.
• Keeps work organised and pays attention to detail.
• Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
• Strong analytical skill, innovative, proactive and a multi-tasker with an inquisitive mindset.
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
