SingHealth SAP system is Patient Management Patient Accounting (PMPA) system that is used at all SingHealth hospitals. You will play a vital role in managing SAP integration with NGEMR for patient master data sync. NGEMR represents a transformative leap in the way healthcare providers manage patient information. This innovative system integrates advanced technology to streamline patient data management, enhance communication among healthcare teams, and improve overall patient care. With features such as real-time data access, customizable interfaces, and robust security measures, NGEMR empowers healthcare professionals to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently. By harnessing the power of data analytics and artificial intelligence, NGEMR not only optimizes clinical workflows but also supports better patient outcomes, making it an essential tool in modern healthcare environments. As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, NGEMR stands at the forefront, driving the future of patient-centered care and operational excellence.
It’s an opportunity to dive into the dynamic world of integration, where your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will engage in hands-on activities such as SIT and UAT sessions to understand the integration between SAP and NGEMR, data exchange between SAP and NGEMR, data format, HL7 Goal State Interface, etc.
The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:
- Interface Testing: Conduct tests on the new interface being developed for the data migration, verifying functionality and user experience.
- Support Conversion Activities: Provide support for test cases, including tasks such as data synchronization and validation to ensure data integrity.
- Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve any bugs or necessary program changes related to the data extraction program.
- Testing Coordination: Coordinate testing efforts with the new system team, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the process.
- Issue Identification and Escalation: Identify and escalate any issues or errors encountered during testing to the vendor for prompt resolution.
- Learn the various testing skills on patient master data sync between systems, data verification to ensure the outcome is as per the requirement.
- Gain experience in the execution, monitoring, control, and closing stages of projects, including Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), hardware deployment, Go-Live, and Post Go-Live activities.
- Hands-On Experience: Participate in the resource planning, development, and implementation of various IT systems.
- Exposure to the System Development Life Cycle:Exposure to the System
- Support the project implementation for the meal ordering system.
- Assist the project team in coordinating with users and vendors.
- Maintain documentation on system specifications, processes, and updates.
- Support the deployment of the new system.
- Assist in logging and tracking bugs or issues in the testing environment.

About you:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Information Systems or related field
- Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
- Proficient in word, excel and powerpoint, Microsoft SQL
- Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel.

Interns will be expected to travel to other Public Healthcare Instutitions (PHIs).
