The objective of this role is to understand the current healthcare landscape, with a focus on Medical Device and Operational Technology (MDOT), and to automate processes and innovate to improve existing workflows. The selected candidate will gain exposure to real Public Healthcare Institution (PHI) operations and work towards enhancing the quality of National Healthcare services.

Some responsibilities include but not limited:

Understanding Business Logic:

• Candidates will first need to comprehend the business logic of healthcare operations.

Translating into Automation Flow:

• Translate the understood business logic into an automation flow that enhances efficiency.

Optimizing Automation Flow:

• Propose optimizations to the entire automation flow to improve productivity and effectiveness.

Programming Skillset:

• Candidates should possess programming skills in areas such as RPA, Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, etc. so as to enhance current processes. 

Security Knowledge:

• Candidates with knowledge of security can design and implement secure coding practices throughout the entire workflow.

The intern will contribute to the improvement of healthcare services by leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance service quality.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
• Self-motivated, initiative and possess strong analytical skill
• Possess programming skills in areas such as RPA, Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Ability to learn fast and work under determined timeline
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech

This internship will be at NHG HQ.
