The selected intern will actively participate in the development of cybersecurity rules and guidelines (policies) aimed at protecting IT systems and data from cyber threats. This role involves collaboration with technology and business teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operating environment. The goal is to establish clear cybersecurity requirements that effectively safeguard IT systems and data. The intern will specifically focus on the development of cybersecurity policies and control libraries within the Public Healthcare sector.

Some responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Policy Development: Participate in and support the creation of various cybersecurity policies and control libraries tailored to the needs of the Public Healthcare sector.
• Rollout Campaigns: Assist in the implementation and promotion of policies and control libraries to ensure awareness and compliance among stakeholders.
• Alignment with Standards: Support the alignment of security systems with established service agreement standards to maintain consistency and reliability.
• Policy Review and Assessment: Engage in the review and assessment of existing policies to identify areas for improvement and ensure they remain effective against evolving threats.
• User Problem Simulation: Assist in simulating user problems to identify potential drawbacks in security systems, facilitating proactive improvements.
• Performance Reporting: Compile regular reports on the performance of security operations, providing insights into effectiveness and areas needing attention.
• Improvement Identification: Identify areas for improvement in existing security policies and procedures, contributing to a more robust security posture.
• Control Process Management: Create and manage control processes to simplify system development and ensure adherence to security regulations.
• User Education: Educate users on security standards and practices, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and compliance within the organization.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
• Familiarity with basic concepts that safeguard IT systems and data from cyber threats would be an advantage
• Innovative, proactive and a multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind
• Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
