The internship objective is designed to immerse students in a real-world business environment, focusing on continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Interns will play a crucial role in analyzing and enhancing the Portal used for subscription and billing, which is vital for the Synapxe Cloud Business Office's operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytical and Critical Thinking:
- Interns will utilize their analytical skills to assess current business operations and identify areas for improvement.
- They will engage in critical thinking exercises to propose innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement Exercise:
- Participate in workshops and meetings to discuss findings and brainstorm potential enhancements to the Portal.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize improvement areas based on impact and feasibility.
- Implementation of Features:
- Work on the actual implementation of new or improved features within the Portal.
- Test and validate changes to ensure they meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Technology Stack:
- Gain hands-on experience with SQL Server for database management and data analysis.
- Develop skills in .Net and/or ReactJS for building and enhancing web applications, focusing on user interface and experience.
- Business Insights:
- Analyze data to extract meaningful insights that can inform better decision-making processes within the organization.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, showcasing the value added through their contributions.
Expected Outcomes:
- Enhanced understanding of business operations and technology integration.
- Practical experience in software development and project implementation.
- Contribution to the organization’s goals of streamlining operations and improving productivity.
About you:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
- Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
- Resourceful and independent thinker with good analytical/ critical thinking skills.
- Possess knowledge in .Net 8, ReactJS, SQL Server
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
