This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in the convergence of healthcare and technology.

The Volunteer Welfare Organisation Community Hospital Common System (VWO CHCS) serves four Community Hospitals:
• Ang Mo Kio – Thye Hua Kwan Hospital (AMKH)
• Ren Ci Hospital (RCH)
• St Andrew’s Community Hospital (SACH)
• St Luke’s Hospital (SLH)

This system is built on SAP ECC6, incorporating:
• SAP ISH (Patient Management & Patient Accounting)
• FI/CO (Finance/Controlling)
• MM (Materials Management)

The intern will be involved with various project enhancements on this system and they could be policy changes such as subsidy schemes from the Ministry of Health (MOH) or additional business requirements from the VWO CHCS.

Some of the responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Project Enhancements: Involvement in policy changes like subsidy schemes from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and additional business requirements from VWO CHs.
• User Requirements Scoping: Research user business processes, identify problem areas, and gather IT requirements.
• System Integration Testing: Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements, test system usability, and track defects until resolved.
• User Training: Organize training sessions and prepare necessary training materials.5) Implementation: Ensure successful rollout and provide post go-live support.
• Liaison: Act as a bridge between business users and the technical team.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
• Possess business analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with agile, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Exercise computational thinking to digest and resolve large complex issues
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A passion for improving user experience and understanding user needs in the healthcare context.
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
