Healthcare Data and Analytics Platform (HDAP) will serve as the technology refresh for SingHealth’s existing analytics platform Electronic Health Intelligence System (eHints) to provide the Analytics community with a seamless data and analytics experience. The HDAP will fulfil SingHealth’s current and future analytics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) to increase analytics usage through self-service and provide 360-degree view on patients and residents, among other functionalities.

 

The selected intern will 

  • Create Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) pipeline to extract data from eHints Database to flat files
  • Create ETL pipeline to split data file based on size limit and generate summary of data files
  • Create script to encrypt data file
  • Create script to push files to HDC extranet in batches 
  • Create script to sync from HDC extranet to HEALIX

 

Through the internship, student will get to familiarize and experience on ETL and scripting in a HeathTech environment.

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline

  • Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026

  • Innovative, proactive and a multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind 

  • Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel

  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
