The Primary Care Planning team helps to drive and deliver IT strategies for the Ministry of Health. The team is responsible for all components of the planning initiatives, from conceptualisation, strategy formulation, funding approval to outcome measurement. The team works closely with the implementation teams comprising of project managers, change management specialists, business analysts and clinical subject matter experts to define and scope the initiative, schedule, cost and resource requirements.

 

The selected intern will focus on three key areas:

  • Business Analysis Planning & Strategy
  • Requirements Analysis & Design
  • Project Operational Excellence and Administration

 

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Contribute strategic thinking and innovative ideas during team discussions.
  • Acquire insights into the healthcare landscape and participate operations of a large national healthcare program.
  • Experience various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from a business perspective from planning, requirement analysis, design, system integration testing, deployment and maintenance. 
     

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
  • Possess business analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with project management and SDLC concepts
  • Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
  • A passion for improving user experience and understanding user needs in the healthcare context
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
