Position Overview

The Assistant Lead Analyst will take on the role of Institution Business Analyst (IBA) in IT project management, IT operations support and user engagement.

The role involves working closely with user teams, IT teams (Cybersecurity, Network, System, EUC), and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of project activities, timely issue resolution, and operational readiness of Entity’s systems. The IBA also play a role in driving security compliance, operational governance, and audit readiness of Entity’s systems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support Entity’s workplan projects and ad‑hoc system initiatives from planning through deployment.
  • Coordinate with users, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project lifecycle activities (requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment) and adherence to standards.
  • Work closely with users and project teams to monitor project progress, risks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
  • Ensure project activities align with institutional, cluster, and PHI IT governance requirements.
  • Work closely with users to provide operational support for Entity’s systems, including incident investigation, troubleshooting, and coordinating resolution with relevant parties.
  • Manage and track operational issues, recurring incidents, system health, and ensure timely follow‑up and closure.
  • Support ad‑hoc IT requests and escalations from institution or cluster stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with users, IT infrastructure teams, Cybersecurity team, and vendor to implement/deploy IT security tools and processes.
  • Support users in the internal and external IT audit related to Entity’s systems.
  • Work with users and IT teams to follow through on audit findings, ensure timely remediation, and maintain compliance with cluster policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring IT operation risks, evaluating process gaps, and recommending mitigation measures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, IT operations support, compliance, or related ICT functions.
  • Experience supporting audits, policy compliance, or risk management is advantageous.
  • Strong coordination skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders across infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendors, and business units.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Healthcare sector experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
