Assistant Project Manager - Medical Device (Cluster Office)

Position Overview

Oversee the procurement, compliance review, deployment and operationalization of Medical Device and Operational Technology Systems (MDOTS) and IT Systems for entity. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, acquire required manpower, and manage allocation and utilisation to meet project objectives.
• Drive procurement and secure project scope and funding approvals from the relevant authorities.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, external partners and vendors to deliver the project on scope, on time and within budget.
• Oversee requirements definition and deliverable acceptance; implement and enforce change control procedures.
• Assess scope-change requests, document impacts on budget, resources and schedule, and obtain required approvals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify dependencies and manage the critical path.
• Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to address slippage.
• Manage project financial health, including budget utilisation, forecasting and cashflow control.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience serving as project lead for small- to mid-scale IT projects.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, COBIT or CISSP are an advantage.
