Assoc Business Analyst - Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (NGEMR)

Position Overview

The Assistant Lead Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems within healthcare organisations. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that integration between EMR patient management and patient accounting systems interoperability meet the needs of healthcare providers, operations and finance need. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and optimisation of EMR systems.
• Gather and analyze user requirements to enhance system functionality, improve user experience.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and challenges.
• Conduct, coordinate testing and validation of new features in EMR system and integration with other systems.
• Collaborate with other EMR modules analyst to provide in dept analysis and testing needed.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for EMR-related or EMR integration system issue.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT equivalent.
• Min. 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work with minimal guidance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in HL7 is an added advantage
