Asst. Capability Lead - SAP Integration (CPI/BTP) & Custom Applications (HR Systems)

Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst / Senior Lead is responsible for leading enterprise integration and custom application initiatives across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role provides business and functional leadership for SAP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, SAP BTP, APIs, middleware services, and SAP custom-developed applications.

The incumbent works closely with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned digital solutions supporting enterprise HR and corporate functions

Role & Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Lead requirements gathering, solution workshops, and process design activities
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
• Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and business process reviews
• Recommend innovative technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness

SAP Integration Leadership

• Act as the functional lead for SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP BTP initiatives
• Review and govern integration architecture, interface designs, APIs, middleware flows, and data mappings
• Lead integration projects involving SAP, ServiceNow, medical claims systems, and other enterprise applications
• Work closely with technical teams to resolve integration issues and optimize performance

SAP Custom Applications

• Lead business analysis and enhancement initiatives for SAP custom applications
• Collaborate with development teams supporting SAP BTP, SAP UI5, Fiori, and cloud-native applications
• Drive application modernization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business requirements

Project Delivery & Governance

• Lead end-to-end delivery of integration and application projects
• Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies
• Provide vendor governance and performance oversight
• Facilitate steering committee and stakeholder management activities

Quality Assurance & Operational Excellence

• Lead testing strategies, SIT, UAT, release management, and production readiness reviews
• Drive root cause analysis and problem management activities
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, architecture, and operational standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in enterprise applications, integration platforms, and solution delivery
• Proven experience leading business analysis and technical delivery workstreams

Technical Competencies

• Strong experience with SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP BTP
• Knowledge of SAP UI5, Fiori, HTML5, cloud technologies, and custom application development
• Understanding of APIs, REST, SOAP, OData, XML, JSON, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and third-party integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP or SAP CPI certification
• Experience with application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
• Public healthcare, government, or enterprise-scale implementation experience is advantageous
