Position Overview
The Assistant Lead Analyst in the Digital Competency Centre (DCC) enables healthcare staff to adopt citizen development, automation and GenAI capabilities safely, effectively and at scale. The role focuses on building digital capability, providing hands‑on advisory support, and enabling platforms that empower users to design and deploy their own solutions within established governance frameworks.
This role works closely with users, programme teams and platform stakeholders to deliver advisory clinics, workshops and enablement initiatives, while also contributing to platform governance, investment proposals and budget support for citizen development and GenAI enablement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Enable healthcare staff adoption of citizen development, automation and GenAI tools through structured learning, guided experimentation and advisory support.
- Facilitate advisory clinics, office hours and consultations to guide users on use‑case identification, solution feasibility and responsible adoption.
- Support users in self‑service solution design and deployment, providing hands‑on guidance while retaining user ownership of solutions.
- Enable and support digital platforms for citizen development (e.g. internal chatbot platform, RPA, Power Platform) from an enablement, onboarding and adoption perspective, ensuring they are accessible, usable and scalable for users.
- Contribute to defining usage models, access controls, guardrails and enablement patterns to support safe and sustainable platform adoption.
- Identify platform gaps, adoption challenges or governance constraints and work with stakeholders on enhancement or solution options.
- Support the development of investment proposals, business cases and budget justifications for platforms, enablement tools or governance solutions.
- Reinforce and operationalise governance frameworks for citizen development, automation and GenAI, including Responsible AI, data protection and security requirements.
- Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, learning materials and reference resources for users at different digital maturity levels.
- Collect adoption insights, recurring issues and user feedback, and share recommendations to improve platforms, governance and enablement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) and 6–8 years’ relevant experience.
- Hands‑on with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and M365 productivity suites in citizen‑development or advisory roles.
- Experience enabling automation (Power Platform and RPA), advising on feasibility, design trade‑offs and enterprise guardrails.
- Working knowledge of RPA concepts and citizen‑developer adoption models; hands‑on RPA development advantageous.
- GenAI experience preferred, ideally with exposure to regulated or healthcare settings.
- Able to influence adoption without direct authority and produce clear enablement materials.
