Manager - Database Developer (Software Engrg & Enterprise Tooling)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Database Developer with Oracle DBA expertise . This role focuses on MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL database programming. The engineer will work closely with Senior Application DBAs and application teams to manage and implement database deliverables, ensuring high-quality migration and development in cloud-managed environment

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform user and project onboarding and offboarding across HIP platform services
• Manage server and application user access, including periodic access reviews
• Execute password rotation for system, application, and service accounts
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate renewal and rotation
• Plan and execute monthly and emergency server patching activities
• Support the release and lifecycle management of HIP application base images
• Support security vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
• Perform service monitoring, health checks, and incident detection
• Provide operational support to the DevSecOps Platform team
• Document operational processes, SOPs, runbooks, and manuals

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in IT operations, platform operations, or system support in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration
• Experience in server patching and access control
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and remediation processes
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting platforms
• Basic scripting ability (e.g. Bash, PowerShell) to support operational tasks and automation
• Experience with incident, change, and problem management processes
• Strong documentation and process discipline
• Ability to support planned maintenance and emergency operational activities
• Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms, tools, and processes quickly
