Position Overview
To serve as one of the Project Manager managing the ZTNA implementation, partnering closely with the ZTNA Project Lead to translate Zero Trust objectives into scalable, secure, and deployable ZTNA solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned ZTNA project workstreams under the direction of the Programme Manager, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, timelines, budgets and quality expectations.
- Establish and govern project plans, schedules, resource requirements, dependencies and key milestones to ensure successful execution and delivery.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across business, technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, procurement and vendor teams to achieve programme outcomes.
- Lead migration planning and implementation activities for the transition from LAN/VPN-based access to ZTNA, ensuring minimal operational disruption and successful user adoption.
- Proactively identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and critical path activities, escalating material concerns with recommended mitigation strategies.
- Oversee vendors and implementation partners, ensuring contractual obligations, deliverables, service levels and project commitments are met.
- Ensure compliance with PMO governance requirements, including project reporting, change management, assurance reviews, audit requirements and stage-gate approvals.
- Provide leadership and oversight of project execution, ensuring implementation readiness, quality assurance, testing, operational transition and benefits realization.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, decision registers, governance papers, status reports and management updates.
- Implement process improvements to reduce project implementation activities.
- Support programme-level planning, reporting and governance activities, including steering committee meetings, executive reviews and management briefings.
- Partner with business and operational stakeholders to drive change management, communications, training and adoption activities.
- Monitor project alignment with cybersecurity policies, security controls and regulatory requirements, providing regular updates to programme leadership.
- Support incident response, recovery and contingency planning activities during significant implementation or operational events.
- Provide timely and accurate project status reporting to sponsors, programme leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication of progress, risks, dependencies and decisions.
- Coach and mentor Project Managers and project support resources, fostering delivery excellence and adherence to programme governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of professional experience, with substantial experience in programme/project management, or large‑scale technology transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑workstream programmes involving security, infrastructure, identity, network or enterprise platforms.
- Demonstrated experience governing enterprise cybersecurity or Zero Trust–related programmes in large or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, delivery controls, assurance processes and executive reporting.
- Experience establishing and operating governance structures, including steering committees, stage gates, RAID management and benefits tracking.
- Ability to manage cross‑project dependencies, competing priorities, funding constraints and enterprise risks
