SingHealth Outpatient Administrative System (OAS) system is Patient Management Patient Accounting (PMPA) system that is used at all SingHealth institutions (hospitals, centres and polyclinics).
Join us to be part of OAS team to be involved in project of OAS integration with NGEMR (Next Generation Electronic Medical Record) system for patient master data sync by going through the different project lifecycle phases.
About the role:
Some of the duties include but not limited to:
- Involvement in the requirement gathering sessions to understand the requirements of the integration between OAS and NGEMR, data exchange between OAS and NGEMR, data format, HL7 Goal State Interface, etc.
- Learn the testing skills on patient master data sync between systems, data verification to ensure the outcome is as per the requirement.
- Work with various parties like Synapxe project teams, vendor and users to improve the communication skills and email writing skills.
HSG policy changes are National wide and hence this role provides exposure to the Singapore healthcare landscape. This role enables one to develop capabilities in understanding of the patient master integration between various systems in SingHealth. The selected intern will be exposed to SDLC including user requirements gathering, technical translation, functional assessment, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Full Dress Rehearsal (FDR), Go-Live, and Post Go-live support of the project phases.
About you:
- Be pursuing a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- Graduating in May 2026
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SQL
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with different stakeholders
- Innovative, proactive and multi-tasker with an inquisitive mind
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
