This internship provides hands-on exposure to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) within an enterprise IT environment. The intern will support initiatives focused on compliance monitoring, control assessments, automation, and reporting, while gaining exposure to cloud infrastructure governance and security practices (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop environment). The role combines technical, analytical, and governance aspects, enabling the intern to work on real-world enterprise processes and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
The selected intern will participate in, but is not limited to, the following:
- Support technical assessments to identify and evaluate tools required for performance, penetration, and automation testing within the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, participating in test planning, execution, and documentation of findings.
- Assist in auditing network configurations, access controls, and process controls to ensure compliance with established frameworks, contributing to gap analysis and remediation tracking.
- Gain exposure to cloud governance and infrastructure by supporting reviews of access control, incident, and risk management reports, as well as validating the implementation of security and compliance controls.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual GRC processes and assist in building dashboards and reports using Excel or Power BI to support compliance monitoring.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by updating SOPs, governance playbooks, and process documentation to support standardisation efforts
About you:
- Be pursuing a Diploma in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management or related field
- Graduating in May 2027
- Basic understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, or cloud concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity or IT governance concepts
- Exposure to scripting (Python / PowerShell)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and curious with a desire to learn about organisational change
- Passionate about improving how organisations deliver and adopt change, especially in the context of HealthTech
- Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
