Position Overview

This Senior Project Manager will leading the CCDR data migration & use cases in HEALIX, perform pre-assessment & supporting the onboarding/redevelopment of Acute Care and primary care to HEALIX, onboarding SAF to HEALIX.

We are offering a 2 years Direct Contract with Synapxe. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage complex programs that encompass multiple projects with varied objectives, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholders from MOH and MOHH entities.
• Lead and perform work planning and budgeting. E.g., review and write approval papers.
• Understand and evaluate new products, services, and technologies to determine feasibility of implementation.
• Implement new and review existing business and pricing models for analytics platforms or tools.  
• Communicate project status, risk and issues to leadership/stakeholdersand present options/recommendation for solution in a clear and effective manner.
• Lead and manage various stages of the systems development life cycle, adopting waterfall, agile or hybrid implementation methodology to meet agreed timelines and budget with stakeholders.
• Plan, lead and manage project delivery (inhouse or outsource). E.g.:
  • Involve in procurement (e.g., Call RFP/ITQ, evaluate vendors’ proposal).
  • Conduct user requirement gathering sessions for the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Manage project based on the project plan and timeline to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameter of cost, duration, and quality.
  • Mitigate project risks.
• Understand procurement, system, and security policy to ensure compliance during project implementation/maintenance period.
• Evaluate new solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems.
• Coach team members to meet common objectives and overcome project hurdles. 

Requirements

• Degree/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 10-15 years’ experience in project management.
• Minimal 7 years’ experiences in providing data warehouse or analytics solutions.
• Business or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)
• Commercial cloud certification (e.g., AWS practitioner, solution architect) is an advantage.
• Good self-organization and programme/project management skill.
• Experience in senior stakeholder management and maintaining professionalism in communication.
• Experience in any Data Management, Business Intelligence or Analytics tools.
• Experience in negotiation and execution of contracts with vendors.
• Ability to manage/influence users, vendors, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
• Worked in a government agency or healthcare industry is an added advantage.
• Exposure to hospital information / clinical systems is an added advantage.
