Position Overview

The Senior Manager, supports the Chief of Staff / Chief Sustainability Officer and Deputy Director in strengthening the operating discipline, executive rhythm and strategic coherence of Synapxe’s CE Office, while contributing to the build-up of Synapxe’s sustainability capability as an enterprise function. 

The role provides high-quality executive support across CE Office priorities, including the coordination of leadership forums, preparation of concise management and board materials, tracking of decisions and matters arising, synthesis of cross-divisional inputs, and follow-through on strategic actions. The role also supports sustainability workstreams, including management updates, reporting coordination, landscape scans, data consolidation and development of executive-ready narratives.

The Senior Manager is expected to operate effectively in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment, work across senior stakeholders, and translate leadership intent into clear briefs, workplans, action trackers and communication-ready materials.

Role & Responsibilities

  •  Support the Chief of Staff / Chief Sustainability Officer and Deputy Director in strengthening the CE Office’s operating cadence, executive rhythm and follow-through discipline.
  • Coordinate key leadership, management and governance forums, including agenda planning, meeting preparation, matters arising, action tracking and follow-up across relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and synthesise executive briefs, management updates, board materials, talking points, position notes, minutes and decision papers in support of CE Office and Sustainability priorities.
  • Support CE Office coordination for key corporate priorities, including corporate strategy coordination, enterprise transformation, leadership alignment, executive decision support and cross-functional issue follow-through.
  • Work closely with divisions and senior stakeholders to gather inputs, reconcile perspectives, clarify issues and translate complex information into concise recommendations for decision-making.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of enterprise priorities, including workplans, deliverables, decision logs, action items, progress updates and key risks requiring senior management attention.
  • Support sustainability workstreams, including coordination of Synapxe’s contribution to MOHH group-wide sustainability efforts, ISSB-aligned reporting expectations, materiality-related inputs, readiness follow-ups and management reporting.
  • Assist in developing Synapxe’s positions and narratives on sustainability priorities such as Green IT, energy and carbon efficiency, sustainable procurement, sustainability data, reporting expectations and climate-related considerations.
  • Conduct landscape scans, desktop research, benchmarking and analysis across healthcare, HealthTech, public sector transformation, sustainability and ESG developments to support executive decision-making.
  • Support the development of dashboards, trackers and structured reporting views for CE Office and Sustainability priorities, including baseline metrics, progress monitoring and action follow-through.
  • Work with Organisation Effectiveness & Strategic Communications, HCM and relevant stakeholders to align executive communications, employee engagement and change narratives with organisational priorities and leadership intent.
  • Assist in the coordination of cross-functional enterprise initiatives where CE Office involvement is required, including operating model changes, governance reviews, stakeholder engagement and enterprise process improvements.
  • Support team administration, knowledge management and work planning within CE Office & Sustainability, including maintaining shared artefacts, trackers, templates and repositories to improve operating effectiveness.
  • Undertake other CE Office and Sustainability-related assignments as required. 

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Health, Sustainability, Communications, Technology, Healthcare Management or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, policy, executive office support, governance, sustainability, organisational transformation, communications, consulting, healthcare, technology or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex enterprise, policy, technology, operating and sustainability issues into clear briefs, recommendations and executive-ready narratives.
  • Strong organisational and execution discipline, with the ability to manage agendas, minutes, action trackers, timelines, workplans and follow-through across multiple senior-level forums and workstreams.
  • Ability to synthesise inputs from multiple stakeholders and translate leadership intent into practical plans, decision papers, updates and communication materials.
  • Good understanding of corporate strategy, work planning, performance management, governance, risk, process improvement and stakeholder management concepts.
