Senior Systems Analyst - ETL support (operations)

Position Overview

We are hiring  an Senior systems analyst who will primarily be involved in monitoring the BRAIN, EDW, eHInts, MCDR and HEALIX Systems. The individual will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and managing all ETL issues, with occasional involvement in SR implementation 

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform production job support and track incidents to closure especially on the batch job recovery and failures

•  Conducting EVMS (Enterprise Vulnerability Management System) assessment and patching to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Participating in on-call rotations to address urgent monitoring issues outside of regular business hours.

 • Respond to alerts and incidents generated by monitoring systems, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.

• Evaluate potential solutions relating to business intelligence and data warehouse and make recommendations to resolve business problems

• Liaise closely with vendors and project team members in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies

• Support the team in defining, tracking and documentation of the technical deliverables expected

• Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support on technical aspects

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• Five (5) years’ experience in developing, implementing and maintaining data warehouse.

• Strong experience in using Informatica PowerCenter with ability to diagnose and troubleshoot ETL errors.

• Strong SQL skills using Oracle and SQL server databases.

• Thorough understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional design, and ETL optimization.

• Experience in data modelling and design.

• Ability to manage users, vendors and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently, as well as in a team
