As an intern you will join the Data Science & AI team to develop and deploy AI models on real-world platforms such as mobile devices, embedded systems, and robotics. It emphasizes optimizing models for edge devices and integrating AI with hardware, providing hands-on experience in end-to-end development from model creation to real-world deployment.

 

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

 

  • Develop and optimize AI models for edge deployment
  • Deploy models on Android and embedded platforms
  • Integrate AI models with robotics systems
  • Perform basic model optimization for performance constraints
  • Work on hardware prototyping, including sensor integration and soldering
  • Support the end-to-end pipeline from data → model → deployment
  • Test, debug, and improve system performance across platforms

 

About You:

 

  • Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
  • Comfortable working in cross-disciplinary environments, including both software and hardware systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues and develop practical solutions
  • Ability to prototype and iterate quickly in a fast-paced project setting
  • Willingness to work hands-on, including debugging hardware and supporting basic prototyping tasks
  • Basic communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly record and present work
  • Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven 
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
