As an intern, you will join the Cloud Platform Engineering team to support the development of AI-powered automation solutions for IT infrastructure. This role combines Python-based AI agent development with infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible and APIs. You will contribute to building AI-driven workflows and automation scripts under guidance, while gaining hands-on experience in modern AI technologies and DevOps practices. Working closely with engineers, you will help design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
The selected intern(s) will assist in following:
- Assist in developing and testing AI agents for IT automation use cases
- Build Python functions/APIs to enable AI agents to interact with internal systems
- Develop and enhance Ansible playbooks for routine infrastructure tasks
- Support integration of AI agents with tools and automation workflows (e.g., REST APIs, Jira, Snow)
- Participate in improving agent outputs (e.g., prompt tuning, basic RAG concepts)
- Work with stakeholders to understand automation requirementsHelp document workflows, scripts, and implementation details
- Support testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of automation solutions
About You:
- Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and YAML
- Basic understanding of automation concepts, scripting, and workflow design
- Exposure to Ansible, Docker, Linux, or similar infrastructure and automation tools is an advantage
- Interest in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or prompt engineering
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
