We are looking for intern(s) to be involved in exploratory work to improve operational efficiency in our Data Analytics Platform used by 12 entities in public healthcare. HEALIX, also known as Health Empowerment thru Advanced Learning & Intelligent eXchange, is the first comprehensive cloud-based analytics platform for the entire public healthcare sector. It deploys leading edge cloud-native tools, supporting the rapid development of AI models to improve patient care. It brings together the public healthcare sector’s data needs on a single platform, and opens up collaborative possibilities and efficiencies to reap the benefits of data driven insights and AI. 

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

• Support cloud security and monitoring activities, including reviewing automated vulnerability reports and coordinating updates with relevant stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing platform support tools, including contributing to content development and training for HEALIX bot and support resources
• Support analysis of system usage and performance, including gathering data to identify usage trends and forecast peak demand periods
• Assist in monitoring platform health and availability, including performing regular service checks and consolidating reports to support operational uptime
• Collaborate with the operations team to support troubleshooting, reporting, and continuous improvement of HEALIX platform services

About You:

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, persuing a degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of AWS cloud platforms AWS
• Familiar with languages such as Python, Linux command, bash script
• Willing to explore and learn on new tools
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team 
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
