Uni Internship Jan to July 2027 - Cyber Risk & Control Assurance for Public Healthcare Systems

We are looking for intern(s) to join our Line 2 team within the CISO office to gain hands-on experience in IT control assessment across the public healthcare sector. In this role, you will support second-level risk and assurance activities, working alongside experienced team members to evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls, and gain exposure to governance, risk, and compliance practices in a real-world environment.

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

• Support the review of IT control design, including understanding how controls are implemented across systems and processes
• Assist in analyzing control processes and procedures, identifying gaps or areas for improvement
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders to gather information and clarify how IT controls are managed
• Support documentation activities, including drafting reports, summaries, and presentation materials
• Assist in audit and assurance activities, including tracking findings and supporting follow-up actions
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing risk and assurance initiatives

About You:

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Undergraduate currently inYear 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline 
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and IT security practices, including concepts related to systems, controls, and risk management
• Interest in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), especially in areas such as IT controls, audit, and assurance
• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to review processes, identify gaps, and follow through on findings
• Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly present observations and prepare reports
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders when required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a structured and fast-paced cybersecurity environment
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven 
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills 
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
