The Cybersecurity Awareness Programme plays a critical role in strengthening the organisation’s cyber culture and reducing human-related cybersecurity risks. As cyber threats continue to evolve, this project focuses on modernising and scaling awareness initiatives to be more engaging, data-driven, and impactful.

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

• Support the planning and execution of cybersecurity awareness initiatives, including tabletop exercises and staff engagement activities
• Design and develop awareness materials (e.g. newsletters, campaign content, communication assets)
• Analyse engagement data and programme effectiveness (e.g. participation rates, feedback trends) to generate insights and recommendations
• Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, automate processes, and personalise awareness efforts
• Assist in organising cybersecurity awareness events for management and staff
• Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, awareness trends, and best practices
• Propose and pilot innovative ideas to improve user engagement and strengthen cyber culture

About You:

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding or interest in cybersecurity concepts and awareness of common cyber threats (e.g. phishing, social engineering)
• Familiarity with data analysis fundamentals (e.g. Excel, basic data interpretation); knowledge of tools such as Power BI is a plus
• Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g. Python) for simple automation or data tasks
• Exposure to or interest in AI tools (e.g. generative AI for content creation, automation), familiarity with visual design tools (e.g. Canva) or digital engagement platforms
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for content development and reporting
• Strong interest in communications, content creation, or campaign development
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team 
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
