Join our Cyber Risk Management & Services team and gain hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security automation within Singapore's public healthcare sector. You will work alongside experienced security professionals to identify and validate security weaknesses, support remediation efforts, and contribute to the development of AI-powered tools that enhance penetration testing and security assessment capabilities.
The selected intern(s) will assist in following:
- Support penetration testing engagements for web applications, mobile applications, and infrastructure systems
- Identify, analyse, and validate security vulnerabilities using industry-standard security testing tools and methodologies
- Assist in documenting penetration testing findings, including risk assessment and remediation recommendations
- Perform remediation verification and re-testing to validate the effectiveness of security fixes
- Develop Python-based automation scripts and tools to improve security testing and vulnerability assessment processes
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of AI-powered penetration testing tools and security automation initiatives
About You:
- Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Python programming and scripting fundamentals
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including common attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and security controls
- Familiarity with penetration testing concepts and industry frameworks such as the OWASP Top 10
- Exposure to security testing tools (e.g. Burp Suite, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, Kali Linux) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity to investigate and understand security issues
- Self-driven and proactive learner with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
