This internship focuses on improving the operations and efficiency of the Innovation Sandbox environment, where multiple projects are managed concurrently. Currently, Sandbox operations involve manual coordination, fragmented communication, and inconsistent documentation. This role will focus on streamlining workflows, improving process clarity, and enhancing reporting to enable smoother project execution.

 

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

 

  • Support process improvement initiatives to streamline Sandbox workflows and reduce operational inefficiencies
  • Assist in project coordination across multiple initiatives, including task tracking and progress monitoring
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of action items and deliverables
  • Enhance reporting processes and dashboards to improve visibility of project status
  • Prepare structured reports, meeting updates, and presentation materials for stakeholders
  • Maintain and organise project documentation, artefacts, and records to ensure consistency and accessibility
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities, including meeting coordination and communication updates
  • Identify workflow gaps and recommend practical, implementable improvements

 

About You:

 

  • Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Industrial & Systems Engineering  or a related discipline
  • Keen interest in project management, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort with data, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and tracking activities
  • Familiarity with process mapping and the translation of business requirements into functional specifications
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to organisational policies, governance standards, and confidentiality requirements
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and time-management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, proactively explore solutions, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Organised and structured in approach, with the ability to track progress, follow up on action items, and support project coordination activities
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive in driving outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
