Throughout the internship, interns will gain exposure to how AI can address real-life challenges, particularly in the medical imaging discipline. They will acquire insights into the practical applications of AI technology and participate in the implementation and maintenance of the AimSG platform (AI Medical Imaging Platform).

The selected intern(s) will be involved, but not limited to the following:

1. Requirement Gathering:
   • Assist in gathering and documenting project requirements by conducting interviews with stakeholders.
   • Analyze existing documentation to understand the project scope and user needs.
   • This process will enhance their understanding of how requirements translate into functional specifications.
2. Project Coordination:
   • Learn about project management methodologies and tools by assisting project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
   • Help prepare project status reports and coordinate team meetings to ensure effective communication among team members.
   • This experience will provide insights into the dynamics of project management in a tech-driven environment.
3. Testing:
   • Participate in the testing phase of projects by developing test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
   • Assist in identifying bugs and collaborating with the development team to ensure quality assurance.
   • This involvement will help interns understand the importance of testing in the software development lifecycle and the role it plays in delivering reliable AI solutions.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
• Knowledge of Machine Learning Model training and validation
• Knowledge of MLOps - Machine Learning Operations works is required
• Understanding of how medical imaging modalities (e.g. X-Ray, CT, MRI scans) and systems (e.g. PACS - Picture Archiving and Communication System) works will be beneficial.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
