The objective of the project is to explore the state-of-the-art computer vision models and their possible usage in the clinical field. By understanding the working principles of different framworks and their existing applications, proper tuning or modifications on them will be done to transfer the work to the other datasets for supporting real applications.

Phase 1 of the project is to have a thorough review of the existing works related to the computer vision tasks including segmentation, object detection and image classification. Implement the representative works on the data collected and do the performance analysis.

Phase 2 of the project is to have further improvement on the results of existing models by designing adaptive pipelines of data preparation and model tuning. 

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
• Proficient in python programming language
• Knowledge in machine learning and deep learning
• Experience in image data analysis is a plus
• Familiar with Git and GitHub repositories is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
