The Electronic Financial Counselling System enables financial counsellors to provide patients with advance estimates of their bill sizes. The intern will participate in various project activities across different public healthcare institutions.

 

Key Responsibilities include

 

  1. Requirements Scoping:
    • Conduct research on user business processes and requirements.
    • Identify problem areas and information technology needs.
  2. System Integration Testing:
    • Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements.
    • Test the usability of the system and track defects until resolution.
  3. User Training:
    • Organize training sessions for end-users.
    • Prepare comprehensive training materials to facilitate learning.
  4. Implementation:
    • Ensure a successful rollout of the system.
    • Provide post go-live support to address any issues that arise.
  5. Liaison Role:
    • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.

 

About you:

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
  • Familiarity with project management and SDLC concepts
  • Good team player with strong communication skills with project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and contractors including both technical and non-technical personnel
  • A passion for improving user experience and understanding user needs in the healthcare context
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
