The internship opportunity offers the chance to work on Generative AI projects for healthcare use cases to transform patient health and improve user productivity. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) stands out as one of the most popular information retrieval techniques for large language models (LLMs) use cases. This method facilitates the integration of an LLM with an organization’s proprietary data.

To successfully implement RAG, it is essential to enhance retrieval techniques for obtaining coherent contexts and employ relevant evaluation metrics.

The intern will experiment with different prompt engineering and information retrieval techniques for healthcare use cases to enhance LLM output quality and enable interactive chatbot experience for users. 

The intern will also contribute to the development of a framework for evaluating large language model LLM responses for different healthcare use cases to guide focus areas for improvement.

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related discipline
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May/Dec 2026
• Strong coding skills in Python programming language is required
• A keen interest in GenAI technologies
• Experience with development tools like VSCode, Jupyter, Git etc.
• Experience with the use of LLM with API access (e.g. GPT-4) and/or open source LLMs (e.g. Llama 3)
• Experience with AI app development on major cloud providers e.g. Azure including integration with API-accessible services in the environment
• Hands on experience with one or more deep learning frameworks, e.g., Tensorflow, Torch is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
